Lisa is known for building authentic, enduring partnerships with employers. For more than 30 years, she has been widely recognized for compliance guidance and fostering collaboration across West Michigan, facilitating numerous peer roundtables where leaders exchange insights, address shared challenges, and strengthen their organizations.
Lisa joined ASE in January 2024 as part of the merger with the Employers Association of West Michigan (EA), where she had been employed since 1993 and served as their president and CEO since 2005. In Lisa's role as Executive Vice President, West Michigan, she will continue to serve West Michigan employers by overseeing services and programs in Grand Rapids, Muskegon and the surrounding lakeshore.
Throughout her career, Lisa has partnered closely with member organizations on key workplace priorities including culture, recruitment and retention, performance management, safety and wellness, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement. In 2004, she was certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Lisa has also served on multiple boards, advisory groups, and committees, and remains active in several national employer‑focused organizations. Her career reflects a longstanding commitment to strong HR leadership, community, collaboration, and strengthening employers across West Michigan.
